The submission deadline for all submissions to the 2026 SIOP Annual Conference is 5 p.m. ET Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Consider submitting a research talk or poster to the Research Community Forums!
Forums will be held Wednesday, April 29, just prior to the opening of the 2026 SIOP Annual Conference and bring together individuals to exchange ideas and collaborate to further advance research.
Building on the success of the inaugural 2025 event, Research Community Forums are expanding to cover five topics in 2026:
- AI Applied to Selection
- Inclusive Workplace Practices
- Sustainability for People, the Planet, and Prosperity
- Applied Research in Worker Well-Being
- Leadership in a New Era
Unlike Preconference Workshops, the Forums are specifically designed to bring together I-O psychology professionals who are currently working on a specific topic in hopes of fostering research breakthroughs. Previous work in the topic of interest is assumed, and all attendees will be equal contributors in the session knowledge sharing. (For those looking for an expert-guided deep dive into a topic of interest, consider a Preconference Workshop or Friday Seminar; information on those is coming soon.)
You can get involved by submitting a research talk or poster to the using the annual conference submission portal, open now. You can submit the same poster/talk for both the main conference and a Forum (a separate submission must be made for each), and Forum submissions do not count toward the Rule of Three.
Forums are an add-on conference event offered the Wednesday afternoon (April 29, 2026) just prior to the opening of the SIOP Annual Conference. You can register for and attend a Forum (as space permits) even if your submission is not accepted or you did not submit a proposal. All speakers as well as non-speaking attendees must pay the $95 event add-on fee to participate, in addition to registering for the annual conference.
