In the upcoming SIOP Work Smart Series virtual workshop, Future-Proofing Careers in the AI Era, learn how to stay relevant and adaptable in an evolving workplace. The 3-hour live workshop is scheduled for 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. ET Wednesday, November 12.
After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Explain at least three key insights into how artificial intelligence is reshaping the workplace and why skills expire faster than many professionals realize.
- Identify and evaluate at least three challenges individuals face when deciding which skills to prioritize for reskilling and upskilling, based on research and participant activities.
- Analyze at least three ways traditional job roles are shifting toward dynamic portfolios of skills, strengths, and evolving responsibilities.
- Apply a structured framework to examine how workflows and processes evolve in an AI-driven environment, and practice strategies for adapting effectively.
- Reflect and identify at least one personal commitment to build learning agility and career resilience using a measurable success criterion to track progress.
Through discussion and interactive activities, the workshop will highlight both opportunities and challenges of the AI-driven economy, empowering participants to build resilience, embrace change, and chart a sustainable career path in an uncertain future. This workshop will offer attendees 2.75 continuing education credits.
