SIOP’s technology upgrades this year include the system that volunteers use to sign up for committee service roles. Very soon you’ll have the chance to use this new system to sign up for one of the more than 500 volunteer positions that will support SIOP during the 2025 to 2026 year.
Committee volunteer service is an impactful way to derive value from your membership by advancing the profession of I-O psychology, developing personal and professional relationships, and supporting the needs of the organization.
To get ready to volunteer this year, you’ll want to first renew your SIOP membership through June 2026. Then, within your Personal Snapshot, take a moment to review your data. The information on your profile will be shown to Committee Chairs, and they will need the most current information about you as they consider you for the work they plan this coming year. Click ‘Edit My Profile’ on the left to submit updates.
Most importantly, read about the work committees are doing to decide where you’d like to serve.
Once the system is ready, you’ll receive a user guide to learn how to sign up for a committee.
