After attending this session, participants will:
- Be able to distinguish coaching from related interventions such as consulting, mentoring, and other communication or management practices, using an evidence-based lens.
- Understand the various research-supported coaching formats, including 1:1 executive coaching, team coaching, group coaching, and coaching as a skill set.
- Practice core coaching competencies—such as active listening and open-ended inquiry—grounded in models and frameworks validated by coaching science.
- Identify how team coaching differs from both group coaching and traditional team development approaches, based on current organizational research.
- Gain awareness of coaching’s systemic organizational impact and access evidence-based resources to guide further exploration and implementation.
- Combining presentation and fireside chat formats, this interactive experience will deliver research-informed insights to help you strategically integrate coaching interventions in the workplace. This workshop will offer attendees 2.75 continuing education credits for psychologists.
