The latest issue of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (IOP) is now available. Volume 18 Issue 2 June 2025 includes two focal articles and 16 commentaries.

Focal article 1 is Shaping the future of industrial-organizational psychology: The transformative potential of research collaborations by Nathaniel M. Voss, Stacy A. Stoffregen, Kelsey L. Couture, Joel A. DiGirolamo, Melissa Furman, Sarah Haidar, Leslie B. Hammer, Jin Lee, Sarina M. Maneotis, Rodney A. McCloy, Ryan Olson, and Paul E. Spector.

From the abstract, “It is important for the research produced by industrial-organizational (I-O) psychologists to be rigorous, relevant, and useful to organizations. However, I-O psychology research is often not used in practice. In this paper, we (both practitioners and academics) argue that engaged scholarship—a particular method of inclusive, collaborative research that incorporates multiple stakeholder perspectives throughout the research process—can help reduce this academic–practice gap and advance the impact of I-O psychology.”

This article is followed by nine commentaries.

The second focal article is Enhancing engagement in workplace belonging efforts: Why moral processes matter by Dustin Maneethai, Lars U. Johnson, Leanne A. Atwater, and L. A. Witt.

From the abstract, “Organizations and managers often implement workplace training programs aimed at fostering collaboration, belonging, and respect among employees. However, the effectiveness of these programs can be undermined when they are framed in ways that only resonate with some participants while alienating others. We propose that moral reframing can enhance the success of such initiatives by aligning messaging with a broader range of moral perspectives.”

This article is followed by seven commentaries.
