SIOP is excited to announce a new opportunity for members to demonstrate their expertise on human well-being and performance in organizational and work settings. The new SIOP blog, Thought Leadership for a Smarter Workplace, a home for member-written content featuring expertise and innovative ideas to influence and guide I-O psychology, is now accepting submissions.

This blog is designed to complement SIOP’s other publications, including The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist (TIP), The Industrial and Organizational Psychology (IOP) and SIOP White Papers, offering a more agile method of reflecting on current topics in I-O psychology.

Posts will be quick reads, written in a conversational tone, which will appeal to busy members and HR and business leaders looking for practical, applicable takeaways or insight designed to start or advance a conversation.

In addition to providing members with a timely opportunity to share their impact on work in the world, Thought Leadership for a Smarter Workplace will bring awareness to the field of I-O psychology and how it can transform work that builds effective organizations and promotes worker well-being. Posts will be shared on SIOP’s social media accounts and new features for the webpage, including the ability to subscribe and share posts, are being explored.
