New SIOP Book Provides Practical Applications of Science

The latest SIOP book is the first to bridge both the SIOP Organizational Frontiers Book Series and the SIOP Professional Practice Book Series, providing practical applications of science.

Case Studies in I-O Psychology: Practical Applications of Science, which was edited by SIOP Retired Fellow Rick Jacobs and SIOP Fellow Doug Reynolds, documents how science informs real-world interventions and how these applications generate new research questions that advance scientific understanding and build theories.

As the editors note: “The dynamic field of industrial and organizational (I-O) psychology effectively integrates science with practice; practice is informed by scientific principles while scientific questions often emerge from practical applications.
