On Nov. 17, the SIOP Disability, Inclusion, and Accessibility Committee (DIAC) will host a webinar on navigating disabilities when dealing with burnout and boreout (or being understimulated at work). This moderated discussion will include panelists who will discuss how burnout and boreout can impact, and be effectively navigated by, individuals with disabilities in both the workplace and school settings. Featuring a panel of four scholar-practitioners with lived and allied experience, this session is slated to be engaging, enriching, and enlightening.

Registration is now open; the registration deadline is November 13.

The webinar will be held 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. ET November 17 and will help attendees understand:

  • the differences between burnout and boreout
  • the definition of boreout
  • how boreout and burnout can impact individuals with disabilities and how to navigate through challenges
  • available resources to help combat burnout and boreout
