The SIOP Consortia Committee is pleased to offer four exciting consortia programs as part of the 2026 SIOP Annual Conference.

The 2026 Early-Career Faculty Consortium will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT on Wednesday, April 29, in New Orleans and is open to current and future junior faculty. Session content will address the unique challenges of entering academia, covering a variety of topics. Lunch is included with registration.

Participants of the Early-Career Faculty Consortium can expect to:

  • Gain practical guidance for developing strong early-career research and teaching portfolios.
  • Understand key expectations for tenure, promotion, and academic career advancement.
  • Learn strategies for balancing teaching, research, and service as a junior faculty member.
  • Build connections with peers and tenured academics to support long-term professional development.

Additionally, participants will attend a “bootcamp” to learn from the Journal of Applied Psychology’s editor-in-chief, Mo Wang, and esteemed members of the editorial board.
