Mark your calendars for the 2026 SIOP Annual Conference, a premier gathering in the field of industrial-organizational psychology, to be held in New Orleans!

More than 1,200 submissions were received from top experts, researchers, and practitioners from around the world. Attendees can plan on gathering a wide variety of information on relevant and timely I-O psychology topics. These submissions are currently undergoing peer review and acceptance decisions will be issued in late December or early January.

“Our goal is to create a program of sessions and posters that contains cutting-edge research, educational content, and discussions about the science and practice of I-O psychology,” said 2026 Program Chair Jeffrey Cucina.

Below are three items for your conference planning purposes:

  1. An Opening Plenary will be held in New Orleans on Wednesday, April 29, followed by our Welcome Reception. A closing event will be held on Saturday, May 2.
  2. Hotel reservations can now be made at our headquarters hotel, the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, which is a short walk from the convention center where the conference programming and events will be held.
  3. Registration is expected to open in mid-December for this pinnacle event. Keep an eye out for more information in the coming weeks.

“The SIOP Conference Committee is working diligently to ensure that our 41st annual conference remains the conference of choice on workplace psychology for all those interested in the field,” said 2026 SIOP Conference Chair Jack Kennedy. “We look forward to welcoming I-O psychology practitioners, educators, researchers, students, and anyone interested in the field of I-O to New Orleans!”
