You will complete this workshop and be able to:
- Explain at least three key insights from meeting science research on workplace meetings.
- Identify and evaluate at least three challenges leaders face when facilitating meetings, based on research and participant insights.
- Analyze at least three common problematic behaviors exhibited by meeting attendees and their impact on meeting effectiveness.
- Apply a structured framework to assess and improve the effectiveness of the meetings you lead.
- Reflect and identify at least one behavioral change you plan to implement in meetings you attend, using a measurable success criterion.
Through a blend of lecturettes, collaborative discussions, and interactive exercises, attendees will diagnose real-world pain points, examine their own meeting behaviors, and build a personalized action plan. The workshop translates research into practical strategies that business professionals can implement immediately. This workshop will offer attendees 2.75 continuing education credits for psychologists.
