Tracy L. Vanneman, CAE, Executive Director
Tracy L. Vanneman, CAE, has worked in the association and nonprofit management industry for 15 years, with experience in sponsorship, exhibits, meeting planning, governance, membership, and volunteers, obtaining her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 2018. Tracy is passionate about pursuing SIOP’s mission and building collaborative relationships between member-volunteers, the Administrative Office staff, and other SIOP stakeholders.
Tracy was selected for the position of SIOP Executive Director in April 2020, after having served as Interim Executive Director since June 2019, and working in myriad roles for SIOP from 2008-2018. She had a brief hiatus from SIOP in 2018-2019 working for the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives (CESSE). Prior work experience also includes nonprofit development, event planning, and print advertising.
Tracy enjoys traveling with her family and consuming some combination of coffee, wine, and dark chocolate. She is a proud SIOP Foundation donor, member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and Ohio Society of Association Executives (OSAE), and an advocate for her children’s beloved school, the Montessori School of Bowling Green. She lives with her husband, Jake (a high school teacher), and their four children in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Jenny Baker, Sr. Manager, Publications and Events
Senior Publications and Events Manager Jenny Baker prepares the conference program, and many other print and web materials. She also handles much of the conference logistics: designing and ordering t-shirts, designing the conference bag art, preparing printed materials and signage, and shipping all materials to the conference site, as well as preparing artwork as needed. She holds a bachelor’s in Scientific and Technical Communication from Bowling Green State University. Jen and her husband Duane live outside BG in the country with their two dogs, assorted cats, two donkeys, and a goat. Jen enjoys gardening, baking, attending concerts, shopping, camping and traveling, and reading.

Scott Case, Business Process Manager
Scott is the Business Process Manager. His responsibilities include configuration, use and troubleshooting of the NOAH association management software system. He also works closely with project owners to understand document business process and project requirements and offer solution options. He also provides support to assist users with installs, updates, and training on current/new application systems. This also includes the creation of documentation for all SIOP members. Prior to SIOP he spent over 20 years in higher education.

Jamie Keblesh, Finance and Operations Manager
Jamie Keblesh is SIOP’s Finance Manager and will be working on annual budgets, financial reports, and providing support to the Financial Officer and Portfolio Officers. She was previously with ProMedica Health System for six years in Managed Care. The majority of her work involved managing a PHO, Lenawee Clinical Partners, but was also involved with credentialing and contracting for the system. Jamie has her BA in psychology from BGSU and her MBA in finance from University of Toledo (Go Falcons!). She serves as a Board Member for The Avalon Foundation and is a Girls on the Run coach. Jamie has two amazing daughters, Brylee and Cameran. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and having fun with her girls..

Larry Nader, IT Manager
Larry Nader is the IT Manager at SIOP. His responsibilities include database, network, computer, and software management, and helpdesk for SIOP members. He has been with SIOP since 1998. Prior to SIOP he owned and operated a radio station in California for 5 years and a printing/graphic design business for 10 years. He spent 2 years as a technical writer for the Microwave Instruments Division (MID) of Hewlett Packard (now called Keysight Technologies). He has a BA in Communications from the College of Wooster. He attained an FFC general operator’s license to be a radio station Chief Engineer. He has over 30 years of experience with computer technology.

Mark Peterson, Web Content Specialist
Mark Peterson is SIOP’s web content specialist, responsible for planning and integrating all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of SIOP web applications. He previously enjoyed a diverse career as a touring musician and graphic designer. Mark graduated with a BS in Technology in Visual Communication Technology from Bowling Green State University with his focus in interactive media. Mark is a dog lover, history buff, avid reader, and hockey fan.

Susan K. Rogers, Business Development Manager
Susan Kesling Rogers, CAE, is Business Development Manager at SIOP. She is responsible for the partner program (exhibits, sponsorships, advertising), I-O Job Network, membership and oversight of continuing education offerings. Susan is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and is accredited by the International Association of Business Communicators and the Public Relations Society of America. Prior to SIOP, she worked in marketing and membership at the Society for Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP). She also worked in marketing communications for Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Susan is married to Rick Rogers, PhD, an historian who teaches at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. She enjoys travel, museums, historical sites, jigsaw puzzles, reading fiction and autobiographies as well as watching CNN and PBS.

Barbara Ruland, Marketing and Brand Strategy Manager
Barbara leads the creation of outward facing communications, video production, and strategic campaigns supporting SIOP’s brand. She collaborates with various volunteer committee and staff members on content initiatives and event marketing. A native of New Mexico, Barbara is a Masters Candidate in the Integrated Marketing Communications Program at Northwestern University’s Medill School and has a BS, with honors, in Radio and Television from San Diego State University. She worked for over twenty years in television broadcasting and corporate video in San Diego, winning awards for her writing, producing and editing work, before moving to Bowling Green, Ohio with her husband Jeff Betts. Barbara joined SIOP in 2016 after 8 years as the Executive Director of the Downtown Bowling Green Special Improvement District.

Amber Stark, Communications Manager
Amber Stark has worked in marketing and communications since 2003, following a short, but insightful, career as a newspaper reporter. Her experience includes managing internal communications, crisis communications, public and media relations, and social media for corporate, higher education, and nonprofit organizations. Special professional interests include corporate social responsibility and creative team leadership.
Amber earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in marketing and communications from Franklin University. Her SIOP responsibilities include media relations, social media and Newsbriefs.
Amber enjoys reading, crafting, and camping. She makes a mean pistachio icebox cake and rides a four-wheeler. She lives in Perrysburg with her husband Billy and son William.

Jayne Tegge, Member Engagement Manager
The friendly voice answering the phone in the SIOP office may be Jayne Tegge, whose goal is to improve the SIOP member experience. Prior to SIOP, she spent eight years as a librarian, and has also worked at a variety of sales and customer service positions, and even owned a book business at one time. Her responsibilities at SIOP include membership recruitment and retention strategy and implementation, as well as managing volunteer and governance operations. Jayne graduated from the University of Dayton with a BA in communications. She and her husband, Tim Tegge, have one daughter, Julia, a recent college graduate. Jayne is an avid cook, cookbook collector, food preserver and all things “foodie.” She has a huge organic garden, yet squeezes in as much reading as possible at all times. She occasionally serves as a roadie for Tim, who is a part-time singer/songwriter, leading a local band called the Black Swamp Boys. Jayne was thrilled that she won a free Ford Fusion hybrid car at a professional conference last year!

Michelle Zavaleta, Member Relations Specialist
Michelle Zavaleta serves as SIOP’s member relations specialist. Her primary role with SIOP is membership – processing membership applications and renewals, as well as answering phone calls and emails. She also assists with annual conference, Leading Edge Consortium, and board meeting preparations. Michelle has a BA in communication from Bowling Green State University. During her time at BGSU, she interned with the Ohio Department of Transportation, District Two, in the real estate and public information offices. In her free time, Michelle enjoys history, antiques, cooking, baking, and watching documentaries.
