The National Science Foundation Needs YOUR Help!

Give Your Input on the Top Entries by June 26, 2019

The NSF 2026 Idea Machine is a competition that gives an opportunity for researchers, the public, and other interested stakeholders to contribute to NSF's mission to support basic research and enable new discoveries that drive the U.S. economy, enhance national security, and advance knowledge to sustain the country's global leadership in science and engineering.

NSF received more than 800 idea submissions for the competition, and 33 entries are still in the running for the grand prize. NSF is asking scientific communities, along with the public, to help determine which entries will advance to the next stage. Watch entrants’ video pitches and comment on the importance and potential impact of the Big Ideas presented as well as provide suggestions on how ideas can be improved.
