Abstract
This session explores how People Analytics (PA) teams can more effectively drive and demonstrate value across key outcomes like improving business performance, enhancing workforce experience, contributing to societal benefits, and driving an analytics culture. While all are important, research shows that improvements in workforce experience and business performance most clearly differentiate high-performing PA teams from others. Despite strong belief among PA leaders in the importance of evidencing impact, only a minority consistently measure it.
Through compelling use cases from large and small companies, the session will highlight how real-world PA initiatives can showcase return on investment across each value category. Participants will collaborate on how to measure value for a fictitious business case.
Transitioning from value to adoption, the session will address the common gap between data democratization and actual use of PA tools. It draws on research to explore adoption barriers and successful mitigation strategies such as data literacy upskilling, leadership role modeling, and intentional product launches. Participants will engage in an exercise to design an adoption strategy tailored to their organizational context, ensuring PA tools are not just available, but actively used.
