Call for Proposals for People Analytics and Assessment Events Now Open

For nearly 20 years, SIOP has hosted the Leading Edge Consortium (LEC) on topics relevant to today’s mid- to senior-level business professionals to share applicable, research-based recommendations that improve work and worker well-being.

This year, for the first time ever, SIOP will host back-to-back LECs on two different topics: people analytics and assessment. Also for the first time ever, SIOP is soliciting proposals for each event.

The 2026 SIOP Leading Edge Consortium: Shaping the Future of People Analytics will be held all day Sept. 30 and the morning of Oct. 1 at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. Related workshops will be held the afternoon of Oct. 1.

The 2026 SIOP Leading Edge Consortium: Assessment in a New Era will be held the afternoon of Oct. 1 and all day Oct. 2 at the same location. Related workshops will be held the morning of Oct. 1.

Shaping the Future of People Analytics will explore the evolving role of people analytics in organizations, including advances in data integration, methods, ethics, and decision-making. Discussions will emphasize how analytics can drive organizational impact while navigating complexity, scale, and governance.

Assessment in a New Era will focus on how advances in technology, analytics, and changing workforce expectations are reshaping assessment strategy, design, validation, and use. Sessions explore emerging tools, methods, and insights, including the thoughtful use of artificial intelligence (AI), to support sound, defensible decisions.
