Register Now for the 3rd Annual SIOP Machine Learning Competition!

Last year an estimated 450 people participated in the epic 2019 SIOP ML competition. The winning teams emerged as Walmart, BGSU, Michigan State, and USAA.

This year is a fresh start and a fresh chance for teams to compete and change our field for the better. The goal of this year’s competition is creating and tuning AI systems for both fairness and utility in hiring.

Similar to last year, this year's competition is truly open. Anyone can register and compete. You could become this year’s top machine learning expert in the field. Register now to make a name for yourself and your affiliation.

Not too sure about your ML chops? You can participate even if you are new to machine learning and this promises to be a fun hands-on learning experience that will expose you to best practices in the field. 

All winning solutions will be made open source, improving fairness and utility of hiring across the gamut of our field. Winning teams will be widely recognized, including an invite to present their diverse approaches on stage at a special session at the #SIOP20 Annual Conference in Austin, TX.
