NSF Recruiting Panelists and Reviewers

The Science of Organizations program in the Division of Social and Economic Sciences of the National Science Foundation is recruiting panelists and reviewers.

The panelist role involves reading and rating up to 10 proposals and attending a two-day meeting. Panelists generally serve two-year terms (i.e., four panel cycles). Previous experience as a PI or reviewer is helpful but not required. Panelists receive a modest honorarium.

Ad-hoc reviewers may be asked to review 1-2 proposals per cycle. Reviewers are not compensated.

Expertise in the area of strategy, organizational behavior, human resource management, organizational science, or industrial-organizational psychology is required to serve as a panelist or reviewer. Panelists are generally mid-career or higher. Reviewers can be at any career stage.

The participation of diverse experts from the organizational sciences community is essential to the merit review process at NSF. If you would like to be considered for selection as a panelist or ad-hoc reviewer, please complete the form at this link – even if you have served as a reviewer in the past.
