- Vitality
This article is the first of five that will dive into each priority in detail.
- Research and Practice – Advance the study and application of I-O psychology to promote organizational success and individual well-being
1.1. Champion relevance, scientific rigor, values, and integrity in I-O research and practice
1.2. Foster I-O practice grounded in science and science informed by practice
1.3. Encourage development and dissemination of evidence-based practices that support worker well-being and organizational effectiveness
1.4. Enable translation of science into practical, actionable guidance and resources
What differentiates SIOP is our commitment to advancing and applying science for the benefit of organizations and employees. Our advantage lies in the connection between research and practice. We seek to strengthen it, championing both science itself and the application of evidence-based practices.
More information will be shared about the remaining priorities here in the Source and on the Strategic Priorities webpage in the coming weeks. Please familiarize yourself with these priorities and follow along in the coming months as we share specific progress made in each of these areas.
