These new strategic priorities are:

- I-O Psychology Education and Development
- Member Value
- Visibility
- Vitality
This article is the second of five that will dive into each priority in detail.
- I-O Psychology Education & Development – Strengthen education and training of current and future I-O professionals to address evolving challenges
2.1. Prepare the next generation by providing resources for faculty, program leaders, and learners across educational and career stages
2.2. Maintain and promote trusted professional standards for I-O education at all levels
2.3. Support informed student decision-making by providing information about graduate programs
2.4. Advance certification and continuing education for I-O professionals at the master’s and doctoral levels
For I-O psychology to remain meaningful and vibrant, our field must maintain a strong talent pipeline at every career stage. As higher education faces growing challenges, we will support faculty, program leaders, and students, and we will maintain that same support for I-O psychology professionals throughout their careers, including via certification and continuing education.
The first article in this series is available on our website.
More information will be shared about the remaining priorities here in the Source and on the Strategic Priorities webpage in the coming weeks. Please familiarize yourself with these priorities and follow along in the coming months as we share specific progress made in each of these areas.
