SIOP Members Elected APS, APA Fellows

Earlier this year, five SIOP members were awarded APS Fellow status in recognition of their sustained outstanding contributions to the science of psychology in the areas of research, teaching, service, and/or application.

In addition, nine SIOP members were elected as APA Fellows by the APA board of directors and council of representatives in October.

APS Fellow status is typically awarded for one’s scientific contributions but may also be awarded for exceptional impact on the field through the development of research opportunities and settings. Candidates will be considered after 10 years of postdoctoral contribution. Learn more here.
