As part of its government relations and public policy initiatives, SIOP works to raise awareness of the importance of industrial and organizational psychology science and research in policy discussions, educating federal and congressional policy makers, and providing SIOP members with a voice in our nation’s capital.

In 2011, SIOP was granted non-governmental organization (NGO) special consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Nine years later, the relationship is still going strong.

Applications for the P. Richard Jeanneret Grant for Research about Assessing and Developing Senior Leaders and nominations for the 2021 Raymond A. Katzell Award in I-O Psychology are being accepted through midnight ET July 31, 2020.

In an effort to recognize unusual and outstanding contributions to I-O psychology, SIOP invites members to nominate colleagues for SIOP Fellowship.

Registration is now open for APA 2020, which will include presentations from several SIOPers. Virtual sessions will be available on demand beginning August 6, 2020 and will be accessible through August 1, 2021.
